Desperate Romantics - interviews with the actors

MESSAGE:
The BBC's new Pre-Raphaelite drama series (six episodes in total) will be shown in July on BBC 2, here are some links to interviews with some of the actors:

Aidan Turner (he plays Dante Gabriel Rossetti)

Samuel Barnett (he plays John Everett Millais)

Rafe Spall (he plays William Holman Hunt)

Sam Crane (he plays Fred Walters *)

* Fred Walters is a fictional character, a composite of several historical personalities, namely, Fred Stephens, Walter Deverell and William Michael Rossetti (saves money on BBC salaries :)).
REPLIES:
UK television screening dates for 'Desperate Romantics' now announced - the first episode being broadcast on Tuesday 21 July 2009, 9pm-10pm on BBC2, and successive Tuesdays thereafter.

Watch the trailer at the BBC site and find out more details about the series at the Desperate Romantics site.

I watched a preview of the first episode last night - for anybody expecting an accurate account of the early adventures of the members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, this is not for you, but as a light-hearted fictional costume drama it is most entertaining. Rather a lot of gratuitous nudity, though - just about the only female character who keeps her clothes on in the first episode is Elizabeth Siddal's mother!
The Daily Telegraph has published an interview with Peter Bowker, the scriptwriter of Desperate Romantics. Read it online at this URL:
