Silver may tarnish - an old ballad

This poem is from an Andre Norton fantasy book (Silver may tarnish)and I tought it lovely!

The Gold Bowl
Silver may tarnish, Gold can be taken

Sleep and his Half-brother Death
Years may flow by, like wind in the grass

The Kiss
Nothing else matters but you beside me

The Meeting on the Turret Stairs
Never alone again, love of my heart

Sleeping Beauty
Morning awakes me, the night is behind me

Seaside Flowers
Sweet is the daylight on this, my land

Romeo and Juliet
Beside me beloved, you still are sleeping, I kiss your eyelids, I touch your hand

King Rene's Honeymoon
Beyond expectation, into love's dawning, I found you waiting, heart of my heart

Once I walked lonely, no one beside me

Paolo and Francesca
Now I have found you, never to part

Psyche Opening the Golden Box
Silver may tarnish, gold may be taken

The Leaf
Years may flow by like wind in the grass

Love Among the Ruins
Nothing else matters but you beside me

The End of the Quest
Never alone again, love of my heart
